Live Aboard
Weekend courses
Enjoy your sailing lessons without needing to pay lodging.
If you are coming from out of the Sydney area or from overseas you'll be staying aboard the training vessel for the weekend courses and the practical sea time of more advanced courses. No hotel bills and no restaurant bills.
Parking
when visiting Club Sail
Park in the public parking lot shown on the Google Map,Park behind the small group of shops on Queens Parade West or park on the street if there is a space available. There is very limited guest parking available in the Newport Anchorage Marina itself, so please ask for details upon arrival.

Club Sail's International Yacht Training courses offer many special advantages for trainees coming from out of state or overseas:
The International Yacht Training courses are primarily "live aboard" on the yacht. The Introduction to Sailing and International Crew is a weekend aboard and the more advanced courses are divided into two parts; at sea and shore-based.
At Sea
During the practical International Yachtmaster sea training, you will live aboard the training yacht and food is provided.
The students arrange a watch system for cooking, cleaning and sailing the boat. Your sail training area combines one of Australia's most beautiful and protected waterways with exciting offshore sailing along the coast of New South Wales.
Shore Based International Yacht Training
Your IYT theory courses are presented at the Club Sail's new sail training annexe in Warriewood. This is a friendly and relaxed environment where the instructors will work with you in a personal and interactive way to maximise your training requirements.
